Naromeet is an AI-powered interview practice platform that helps you prepare for job interviews through realistic voice conversations with AI interviewers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect the following categories of personal data when you use Naromeet:
Name, email address, avatar, username, and locale preferences provided during registration.
AI-generated feedback, performance scores, session duration, session metadata, and optional session ratings from your practice interviews.
Audio is NOT stored on our servers. However, the text transcription of the conversation (messages between you and the AI interviewer) is stored temporarily for 15 days to help diagnose issues, then automatically deleted.
Action logs and timestamps used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Timestamp and record of your GDPR consent acceptance.
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (Supabase session) and, if you accept, optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how our service is used. No marketing or tracking cookies are used. You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time.
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
Account management, interview sessions, and feedback delivery — necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
Usage logging for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Privacy policy acceptance at signup and sharing of Google profile data (name, avatar) via OAuth — you can withdraw consent at any time.

We are transparent about where your data is stored and processed:
Your account data, interview feedback, and scores are stored in Supabase, hosted in France (AWS eu-west-3 region).
Our web application and backend services are hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in Europe.
Voice audio is processed by Google Gemini on Google servers, which may be located outside the EU.
For transfers outside the EU, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure adequate data protection.
We limit data sharing to what is strictly necessary:
Google — Google (Gemini API) — acts as a sub-processor for real-time voice interview processing. Google Analytics — collects anonymous usage data if you accept analytics cookies.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
We may disclose data if required by law or in response to valid legal requests from public authorities.
We retain your data for specific periods based on data type:
